Manufacturing vintage style lamps, it didn't take us long to realize that people really liked these unique Steampunk lamps. However, because of the cost (a large amount of the price involves labor), many found that it was just too expensive to purchase one of these unique lamps.

Researching, we found a few DIY sites that offered information on how to build a lamp. But, because of the difficulty level, lack of complete instructions and material requirements, many of these tutorials were still out of reach of the average person. Not only were many of them difficult to build, but having steel cut and threaded, locating the right fittings, learning how to wire the lamp properly and having the right tools were out of the "do it yourself" reach of many people.

That's when we came up with the idea of providing kits so the average person could complete their own Steampunk lamp. Not only having your own lamp but the pride in knowing that you built it yourself. Please explore our website and look at the Steampunk lamp kits that are available. If you are interested in building your own lamp and have questions, don't hesitate to contact us. We're ready to answer your questions and assist you in helping you with your choice.

For those of you who don't have the time or would prefer to buy one already assembled, we have many designs to choose from. Or, offer your own design and we'll build it for you. Please understand that we do not "shelve" our lamps. Each one is hand made and assembled for each individual order. Less complicated lamps can usually be completed in about a week but most will take up to 2 weeks before they are ready for shipment. Our kits, in most cases, are already packaged and should be on the way to you in a very short time. However you choose, we at Steampunk Kits hope you will display one of these beautiful and unique lamps in your home or business soon.
